FAQ

Questions buyers and sellers actually ask

Straight answers to what people want to know before they call, from Cindy's experience of thousands of conversations.

What kinds of clients does Cindy work with?

All kinds. First-time buyers, move-up families, growing families, empty nesters and downsizers, seniors, luxury buyers, military and veteran families, and home sellers. She especially enjoys working with seniors and first-time buyers.

Is Cindy's business really referral-based?

Almost exclusively. After more than 35 years in real estate, her clients come through referrals from past clients and from fellow realtors who know her reputation. She has helped her clients' children and grandchildren buy their first homes, and helped their parents buy smaller ones.

Does Cindy handle new construction?

It is her career specialty. Most of her career has been spent in new construction and subdivisions, working directly with builders, including the Street of Dreams. She represents builders, buyers, and sellers, so she understands the process from every side of the table.

Where does Cindy work?

The Portland metropolitan area, primarily the east side. Her home territory includes Happy Valley, Clackamas, West Linn, Oregon City, and Portland's east-side neighborhoods from Sellwood to Montavilla.

How does Cindy market a home for sale?

She does more than put a listing on the MLS. She promotes every listing through open houses, contacts other realtors directly to reach their buyers, and creates beautiful brochures and flyers that make each home stand out.

What are Cindy's license details?

Cindy holds Oregon Real Estate License 900600 183. She has been licensed since 1990, has sold more than 1,500 homes, and works with MORE Realty.

I am not ready to move yet. Should I still reach out?

Yes, and that is the best time. Many of Cindy's clients start a year or more before they plan to move. Planning ahead means better timing, better pricing, and far less stress. The conversation is free and the advice is honest.

How do I get in touch with Cindy?

Use the contact form on the contact page or email Cindy directly at Cindyoja@gmail.com. Every message gets a personal reply.

Still have a question?

Ask Cindy directly. It is the same question every Portland buyer and seller starts with, and there is no silly timing to ask it.
